Breaking Benjamin ‘Dark Before Dawn’ has debuted at no 1 in the USA with sales of 141,000.
‘Dark Before Dawn’ is the 5th Breaking Benjamin album and first to land at number one. The two previous albums ‘Dear Agony’ (2009) and ‘Phobia’ (2006) gave the band Top 10 spots at 4 for ‘Agony’ and 2 for ‘Phobia’.
James Taylor also held well in the second week of release for Before This World, falling only from 1 to 5 on the Billboard Albums chart. The LP set a record for Taylor last week when it became his first chart topper.
In a day when second week sales for albums usually drop 50% to 60%, Taylor only dropped around 45%, showing that the album may be around for some time.
