Whitney Houston has been found dead at the age of 48.
The troubled singer’s death has been confirmed by her publicist Karen Foster but a cause of death has not been released.
Whitney has been a long time drug user and drugs are most certainly going to be found as the cause of her death.
The American soul and R&B singer was a cousin to Dionne Warwick. Her Godmother was Aretha Franklin.
Whitney’s debut album was recorded in 1985 and released by Arista Records. It was an instant success making her one of the biggest acts of 1985 with this like ‘Saving All My Love For You’, ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘The Greatest Love Of All’.
In 1992, her theme from The Bodyguard ‘I Will Always Love You’ became the highest selling single for a female in history.
Her last album was ‘I Look To You’ in 2009.
