Poison star Bret Michaels has thanks Barrows for saving his life.
In the past two years Bret has suffered a brain haemorrhage, a emergency appendectomy, been diagnosed with a hole in his heart and has had a stroke.
The rock star was a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice when he had the stroke before the end of the season. He went on to win the show.
Bret was treated at the St Joseph’s Barrow Neurological Institute in his hometown on Phoenix. “I want to thank all of my good friends at Barrow who saved my life,” says Bret. “Without them I wouldn’t be standing here today.”
The institute is regarded as a leader in neurological research, diagnosis and patient care and is considered one of the Top 10 neurological hospitals in the USA.
