The 2013 Helpmann Award nominees have been announced With Bruce Springsteen, Barry Gibb, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Coldplay receiving nominations for Best International Contemporary Concert.

The Helpmann Awards recognise excellence in performance in Australia.

For Australian contemporary concert performance, the nominees are Paul Kelly & Neil Finn, Archie Roach, Gotye and Keith Urban.

This year there were 41 categories with King Kong, The Addams Family and Legally Blonde each receiving 3 nominations.

King Kong is up for Best Original Score for original music composed by Marius de Vries featuring songs and original compositions by 3D from Massive Attack, Guy Garvey, Sarah McLachlan, Justice and The Avalanches with additional lyrics by Michael Mitnick and Richard Thomas.

The winners of 2013 Helpmann Awards will be announced on July 29 in Sydney.
