Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Wrecking Ball tour has won Best International Contemporary Concert while Neil Finn & Paul Kelly have won the award for Best Australian Contemporary Concert at the 2013 Helpmann Awards.

The 13th annual Helpmann Awards were announced in Sydney last night.

Bluesfest won for the Best Contemporary Music Festival category. The big winner of the evening was King Kong with awards for Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Design and Outstanding Theatrical Achievement.

Multiple awards went to Legally Blonde The Musical for Best Musical, Best Choreography in a Musical, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Female Actor in a Musical.
