Steve Van Zandt has told Pollstar that the surviving members of the E Street Band will group “over the next couple of weeks” to decide their future.

In June, founding member and sax player Clarence Clemons died of a stroke. His sax playing was core to the sound of the E Street Band.

In 2008, keyboard player Danny Federici died.

Van Zandt expects the band will continue. “That’s what we do,” he said.

The last album from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band was ‘Working On A Dream’ in 2009.
