Bruno Mars jumps up a couple of places to land the No.1 spot on the ARIA Albums chart with his second album “Unorthodox Jukebox” the album also gaining its second Top 10 single this week too, as “When I Was Your Man” jumped up to No.6, with the first single from the set “Locked Out of Heaven” (HP-4) dropping a few places to No.12.
It took his debut album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” (TW-51) fourteen weeks to reach its peak of No.2 in the fourth week of 2011 (24-Jan), but the new set does it in its fifth week on the chart, it is also newly certified Platinum (▲) in sales. “Unorthodox Jukebox” becomes the 659th No.1 album in Australia (1965 to 2013) and the 518th for ARIA (1983 to 2013). It’s also the first time that either the words ‘Unorthodox’ or ‘Jukebox’ have appeared in a No.1 album title.
