Michael Bublé’s Christmas album holds off Reece Mastin’s debut on this week’s ARIA Chart wrap.
The X-Factor winner did well to get his self-titled album this high (something Rihanna and The Black Keys couldn’t achieve), but no one messes with Bublé at Christmas.
And it was the only new release that entered the chart this week, since new albums are so thin on the ground around the festive season.
There was also little movement in the rest of the chart.
The top twenty continuing with Adele, Susan Boyle, LMFAO, Tony Bennett, Nickelback, Cold Chisel’s Best Of, Amy Winehouse, triplej’s seventh Like A Version, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, The Black Keys, One Direction, Justin Bieber, Gotye, Rihanna, Pink Floyd’s Best Of, and at number 20, David Guetta.
Reece Mastin did have a win on the singles chart, his ‘Good Night’ retaining the top position for the fourth week in a row.
We can expect one more week of Bublé, and maybe Mastin will climb up in the New Year.
