A second London show at the Royal Festival Hall on July 7th is announced as well as a date at the Bournemouth Pavilion on July 5th. These dates proceed his sold out date at Royal Festival Hall on the Southbank in London on June 26th.
Says Bacharach ‘ “I am looking forward to being back in the UK in the summer. I will be performing some of my newer songs as well as my more familiar hits, with my terrific band and singers.”
The shows will see Bacharach perform some of his greatest and unforgettable hits, including The Look Of Love, I Say A Little Prayer, Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head and (They Long To Be) Close To You.
Along with Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Paul Simon, Bacharach is a legend of popular music. His songs have been recorded by legendary singers, such as Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Linda Ronstadt, Dionne Warwick and Aretha Franklin.
