Busta Rhymes is under investigation after allegedly threatening fans, it has been claimed.
TMZ reports that the Gimme Some More rapper is being accused of threatening to slap two female fans following the BET Awards in June. According to the outlet one of the women, Kim Simpson, filed a police report after the 43-year-old got nasty when they accidentally bumped into him on the dance floor.
Kim says they apologised but Busta turned on them and allegedly said: ‘I’ll bite you and not that kinda bite’ if they did it again. To make matters worse, they crossed paths with the star again when they were trying to get a picture of reality star Deelishis and Busta was caught in the flashlight.
‘Don’t make me slap you’ he reportedly said before charging at them, only to be stopped by security.
The outlet added that law enforcement officers are trying to locate Busta to interview him about the incident. His rep has been contacted for a response on the claims but has yet to make a comment.
It’s been a tumultuous month for the hip-hop star after he was arrested last week for allegedly throwing protein powder at a gym worker. Busta was apparently working out at Steel Gym on West 23rd Street in New York City when he is believed to have become embroiled in an argument with the employee. It resulted in him apparently hurling a 17-ounce container of protein drink at the worker, hitting them on the back of the head with the bottle.
‘This is another attempt to take advantage of Busta’s celebrity status,’ his attorney Scott Leemon told TMZ, adding the allegations are “a bunch of bull”.
‘It’s stupid,’ Busta added to New York Daily News. ‘It’s ridiculous; it was literally a bottle of Muscle Milk.’
