Butch Vig Pulls Out Of Garbage Australian Tour

Garbage founder Butch Vig will not be with the band when they tour Australia next week.

Vig is suffering a sinus condition and his doctor won’t allow him to fly.

In a statement at the Garbage Facebook page Vig said, “I’m very disappointed I’m going to miss the upcoming shows, but the doctors want me to err on the side of caution. Thanks to all our fans for understanding. I will be back!”

Eric Gardner of Tom Morello’s band will plays drums for Garbage on the Australian tour.
