Cancer Bats Postpone Their Australian Tour Until Soundwave 2013

Canadian hardcore rockers Cancer Bats have had to cancel their July tour, but will be back for Soundwave 2013.

The band have postponed their July Australian tour, and will return for Soundwave 2013, as well as do five Sidewave shows in all the capitals – a step up from their Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane plans.

A press release said: “The band have explained the need to postpone the dates and we love them for their honesty and their love for the fans as they have asked to ensure we reward their fans for their patience and understanding.”

The tickets that have already been sold will remain valid for the forthcoming Sidewave shows in the respective cities, so hang on to them. These shows are likely to have some hefty supports, if earlier Sidewaves are any indication.

Their latest album Dead Set On Living has been getting raves. Check out the amusing video for ‘Road Sick’ below.
