Carole King Tapestry Re-Enters UK Chart After Stage Show Opens

The London West End opening of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical has sent her seminal 1971 album Tapestry back onto the British Albums chart.

Tapestry leaps in at 21, its 137th week on the U.K. chart overall. The original run of the album saw it peak at number 4 while subsequent entries in 1998 and 2009, for the Legacy Edition, saw peaks at 24 and 12 respectively.

Overall, 20 of this week’s top 100 that have been on the chart for more than one hundred weeks:
