Carrie Underwood Announces New Album ‘Blown Away’

Pop-country star Carrie Underwood kicks off her new album Blown Away with the first single ‘Good Girl’.

The first single ‘Good Girl’ was written by Underwood, Chris DeStefano (Kelly Clarkson, Michael Bolton) and Ashley Gorley (Brad Paisley, Keith Urban). The clip for the stomping pop-rock number is approaching one million views already.

Blown Away was produced by her longtime collaborator Mark Bright, who worked on two of Carrie’s other albums, as well as with stadium country superstars Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley.

The Golden Girl won American Idol in 2005 and has sold over 12 million copies of her first three albums, so expect big things for Blown Away, which will be released on May 4 in Australia.
