Carrie Underwood is donating proceeds from her botched concert in Des Moines, Iowa to charity.
The country music darling is currently on her Blown Away US tour but lost her voice during her performance in Des Moines on December 14.
She completed a 90-minute show, only cutting a few songs from her set.
But Carrie says she was not happy with how the show went and will donate proceeds to the city.
“I’ve given everything a million percent, but I’m still only getting about halfway to where I want to be and I’m not used to that,” she told concertgoers, according to music blog the Country Vibe.
“I feel real guilty about making any money on this show tonight. So whatever I’m making is just going to go right back into this community, because I feel like that’s the right thing to do,’ she said.
Carrie did not elaborate on which charities she would donate to.
Ticket sales were estimated at $483,000.
The singer was forced to reschedule her Saturday night show in Kansas City, Missouri to May 1 due to her illness.
She is next scheduled to perform on Tuesday night in Memphis, Tennessee.
