Axl Rose has just popped out his first new song in 10 years. ‘Rock the Rock’ was made for a New Looney Tunes episode.
‘Rock the Rock’ was written by Looney Tunes cartoon composers Rob Janas and Joshua Funk.
Apart from previous unreleased material included on the ‘Appetite for Destruction’ expanded reissue there has not been any new music from Rose or Gun N’ Roses since ‘Chinese Democracy’ in 2008.
The 14 songs on ‘Chinese Democracy’ were the first new Axl Rose written music since 1991’s ‘Use Your Illusion I & 2’. Guns N’ Roses also had the covers album ‘The Spaghetti Incident’ in 1993 and released their cover of The Rolling Stones ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ in 1994 as part of the soundtrack for the Tom Cruise movie ‘The Vampire Diaries’.
