Casey Kasem is currently at a police station in the state of Washington to the relief of his three adult children.
Kasem had recently gone missing and, on Monday, a judge ordered an investigation into his location. Casey’s daughter Kerri was appointed a temporary conservator and had waited for the order to be signed before issuing a missing person’s report.
Shortly after, Kasem was located at the Kitsap (WA) County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday where his condition was not immediately known. Those away of Kasem’s situation believed that his wife, Jean, had signed him out of an adult care facility and moved him to an indian reservation in that state although some feared that she had removed him from the country.
Jean Kasem and Casey’s three children from a previous marriage have been at odds for some time with Jean, most recently, blocking them from seeing their father completely. According to his daughter, Kerri, Casey is suffering from Lewy Body Disease, a form of dementia that had previously been diagnosed as Parkinson’s Disease.
The next court date for the situation has been set for June 20.
