Check Out Who Played For MusiCares Fleetwood Mac Person of the Year

Radio City Music Hall was the site of last night’s (January 26) MusiCares Person of the Year Gala honoring Fleetwood Mac.

For the first time in a number of years, the ceremony was held in New York which also host’s Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, giving the show a different vibe. In attendance was Bill and Hillary Clinton, with Bill presenting the award to the band, along with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

The evening started with a number of high profile artists taking the stage to sing some of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits, followed by the presentation and acceptance of the award. Four of the five group members spoke including Stevie Nicks who spoke at length about the late-Tom Petty. John McVie did not give a speech.

The full band then took the stage to perform five songs, starting with “The Chain” with Harry Styles.

Fleetwood Mac was the 28th recipient of the MusiCares Person of the Year Award and the first to be given to more than one person.
