Chemical Brothers have returned with their eighth studio album, ‘Born In The Echoes’ and it is looking like debuting at no 1 in the UK.
‘Born In The Echoes’ was number one in the midweek chart and has continued to sell well for the remainder of the week. This would make it the bands sixth number one album in a row.
The record features the Radio 1 A-List single ‘Go ‘ featuring Q-Tip’ as well as a number of incredible songs which feature collaborations with Beck, St Vincent, Cate Le Bon and Ali Love. The band are currently dominating stages across the globe, including headline slots at Glastonbury, Sonar and Bestival.
The album is a magnificent eleven-track collection of lean, propulsive machine driven music. From juddering robotic funk to unhinged futurist Freakbeat; icy spectral psych to rhapsodic analog synthetics; from euphoric spiritual acid to harmonic ambient distortion, the album is the sound of a reinvigorated Chemical Brothers creating some of the most mind-expanding music of their career to date.
