Cher is blaming Warner Music because he recent album ‘Closer To The Truth’ flopped even though in reality it did pretty good.

Cher’s latest album has had quite a good run on the charts, debuting at number 3, spending a number of weeks in the top ten and bouncing around the top 50 on the Billboard Album chart since September. For most veteran artists, this would be considered a pretty incredible run but the singer is still unhappy.

Cher took to Twitter on Thursday to express her discontent with the way her album has been handled by her record company, Warner Brothers.

It’s true WB’s hasn’t got a Great Deal of Interest In My CD. Not ALL,THERE R HARD WORKING ADORABLE PPL.,But Decision Makers Don’t Seem 2CareThat Much. It’s Ok YHSTLOM

YHSTLOM is a reference to her hit from the Burlesque soundtrack, You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me.

After questions from fans, she added:

I’m proud of my work,SO,if u love your CD,I Did my job! Ps.New Songs Kick major ass in Show. Some WB’s ppl R“Special”2 Me

According to Billboard, Closer to the Truth has sold 285,000 copies to date which for a veteran artist is not such a bad figure.
