Chet Faker will perform in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne starting October 30 playing songs he has never played before and with some guests along the way.
“I’ve played over 200 shows since the album came out, and during that time the songs and the show itself has evolved so much further beyond the recordings,” Chet Faker said in a statement. “This tour is a last chance to put everything I’ve learned over the last few years into practice and see the songs played in their full capacity before I put the album to rest.”
Chet Faker has also revealed a new song titled ‘Bend’. The song was recorded during the ‘Built On Glass’ sessions but left off the record. Chet wants to release the song now because it will not fit the direction of his new record and if it doesn’t come out now it may never come out.
‘Bend’ will be released this Friday, June 19.
Chet Faker dates
October 30, Melbourne, Sidney Myer Music Bowl
October 31, Brisbane, Riverstage
November 6, Sydney, Sydney Opera House Forecourt
