Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell has performed Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ at a rally for President Obama in San Francisco.
Cornell sang the song at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco in front of 2500 Obama supporters who paid from $100 to $7500 each to be at the event. (For 7.5 grand you got your photo with Obama).
Cornell’s set includes acoustic versions of Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’, John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, Nick Lowe’s ‘What’s So Funny About Peace Love and Understanding’ and then finally ‘I Will Always Love You’ “for Whitney”.
