The death of Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly was from a drug overdose.
Atlanta police have concluded that Kelly died after taking a mixture of cocaine and heroin at his home yesterday. He was 34-years old.
Kelly was found unconscious at his home and taken to the Atlanta Medical Center where he was pronounced dead three hours later.
Kelly, with his friend Chris Smith were discovered at age 13 by producer Jermaine Dupri who produced their number one song ‘Jump’.
The pair appeared in Michael Jackson’s ‘Jam’ video and then went around the world with Jackson on the ‘Dangerous’ World tour.
Kelly’s uncle told police that his nephew had a history of drugs.
