Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have reportedly finalised the terms of their divorce.
The Oscar-winning actress and her Grammy-winning Coldplay frontman ex announced their ‘conscious uncoupling’ in March last year after ten years of marriage.
And according to TMZ the pair have signed off on a divorce agreement. Apparently all they have to do now to finalise their divorce is submit their deal to the courts sometime on Monday so that the presiding judge can file and sign off on the legal papers. Once a judge pens a signature to their agreement, the divorce is official.
It’s claimed the former couple have been amicable throughout their split, leaving the details of the divorce to be handled by their advisors.
‘Gwyneth and Chris have been using their business managers to hash out a settlement agreement involving both property and custody,’ TMZ writes.
The exes supposedly agreed not to outline the exact terms of their divorce deal in court documents so that their settlement will remain confidential.
However it’s believed they are both willing to share joint custody of their two children, 10-year-old daughter Apple and nine-year-old son Moses.
The pair have remained on extremely civil terms ever since the split and recently holidayed with their kids in Mexico. It’s claimed this Mexican vacation is where they decided to officially divorce.
Chris, 38, has been rumoured to be dating the Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence, 24, for some time and 42-year-old Gwyneth was recently pictured for the first time with Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, who she has been linked to since last year.
But even though they have both moved on to new relationships, speculation is rife the pair will continue to put family first.
“They’ve decided to draw up a ‘family schedule’, which they will both have to adhere to once the divorce is finalised,” a source told British magazine Grazia. “It will include at least three family holidays a year, designated joint days out with the kids and even ‘date nights’ to discuss the children and remain on good terms. Both Jennifer and Brad are expected to be in attendance at Apple’s 11th birthday next month.”
