Chuck Berry ‘Darlin’ Video Premieres

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on June 16, 2017

in News

Chuck Berry never released an official promotional video during his lifetime. His last album was released in 1979, prior to the music video revolution.

In mid-May, the first ever Chuck Berry video was released for the song Big Boys from his posthumous album Chuck but there was no Berry to be seen, just dancers in scenes set in the 50’s with someone playing Berry but deep in the shadows.

Today (June 15), Berry’s second ever video was released for the song Darlin’ and, this time around, it’s all about Chuck and his family. The video is full of archival family and performance photos and film showing the Chuck Berry that the world knows and loves.
