Rumors are coming out daily on who is playing next year’s Glastonbury Festival in England with tours by major artists scheduled for June being the major contributor.
Over the weekend, it was Robbie Williams who stirred rumblings and, on Monday, it is Sir Cliff Richard who has scheduled a run from mid-June to early-July around the U.K.
Next year’s Glastonbury Festival is scheduled for June 21 to 25 and, according to organizer Emily Eavis, it’s going to be a big one as they try and cram two years worth of music into the weekend to compensate for there being no show in 2018.
For Richard, it will be his first tour since being cleared of any sexual abuse charges from alleged incidents in the past. He is currently threatening a legal action against the South Yorkshire Police and has heavily criticized the BBC over the long investigation that included his home being searched and a number of interviews.
Tickets for the tour go on sale next Monday, November 14.
