Cold Chisel are back at work working on something new in the studio.
The band posted a message on Facebook announcing their return to the studio. “Cold Chisel are messing around in the studio… Just writing and demoing… See what happens.”
Cold Chisel’s last album ‘No Plans’ in 2012 was their first studio album since ‘The Last Wave Of Summer’ 14 years earlier.
‘No Plans’ was the seventh studio album for Cold Chisel and peaked at no. 2 on the ARIA Chart. It was also the last recording to feature Chisel’s founding member Steve Prestwich on drums. Prestwich passed away in January, 2011.
Cold Chisel’s last concert was on June 16, 2012 in London. They haven’t performed an Australian gig since April, 2012.
