Cold Chisel To Headline Deni Ute Muster And Play NRL Grand Final

by Paul Cashmere on May 27, 2015

in Live,News

Cold Chisel will perform a whole lot of shows starting in October kicking off with the Deni Ute Muster in Deniliquin and then performing at the NRL Grand Final in Sydney.

The One Night Stand shows will be a series of one night stands, mostly in regional areas and strangely bypassing Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane completely. “In March we played a homecoming show in Adelaide to 35,000 people,” said frontman Jimmy Barnes. “Then when we announced these two shows in Sydney the reaction was ballistic. The demand blew our minds, suggesting that it was time for us to get back out there.”

The select dates will take Chisel to Darwin and into far north Queensland. They will also play at the V8 Supercars event on the Gold Coast and at Hanging Rock in Victoria instead of a Melbourne date. The Hanging Rock show will also include The Living End, Mark Seymour and the Undertow and Stonefield.
