in New Music,News

Coldplay will release a live DVD and CD sourced from various performances of the songs from Ghost Stories performed around the world, including a performance from Sydney.

‘Ghost Stories’ live was filmed by Paul Dugdale and is a document of the intimate performances performed around the world for a small group of fans in small venues including Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.

The Coldplay performance of the hit songs ‘Magic’ and ‘True Love’ were taken from the band’s Enmore Theatre show on June 19, 2014. They will feature on the CD.

The DVD will be the complete performance of the show from Sony Studios, Los Angeles, originally broadcast on iHeartRadio.

“The Ghost Stories show at Sony Studios was a very special moment for our band. The magic theatre built by our incredible crew with the 360 screens was literally a dream come true. And it was the first time anyone outside of our studio had heard the new songs. This film is basically our original vision for the Ghost Stories album,” Chris Martin said.

Ghost Stories Live will be released in Australia through Warner Music on November 21.
