We’re all used to hearing Colin Hay on such uptempo gems as Who Can It Be Now? and Down Under but, there is a soft side to the singer, too.

On Monday, Hay released the video for the song A Thousand Million Reasons, a beautiful ballad from his latest album, Fierce Mercy.

The video is also visually brilliant with the animated style of Cuban cartoonist Juan Padron. Hay said “He created beautiful pictures which celebrate a sense of wonder at being part of the fabric of the universe.”
