Melbourne’s Courtney Barnett has the number one album this week on Billboard’s Alternative Album chart with her debut ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, Sometimes I Just Sit’.
On the general Billboard 20 chart, Courtney has the no 20 album this week making her Australia’s biggest artist globally this week. ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, Sometimes I Just Sit’ sold around 16,000 copies in America last week.
The album also tops Billboards Rock, Folk and Independent Album charts.
Meanwhile in the UK Barnett’s album dropped from 16 to 39 this week. In Australia the album dropped from 4 to 11 with 2420 sales bringing its total Australia sales to 8708.
