Courtney Love has apparently always ‘dreamed’ of telling her story through a movie or Broadway musical.

It has emerged that the controversial star is working with Britney Spears’ former manager Sam Lutfi on a project based on her career and relationship with late husband Kurt Cobain.
Insiders claim the 48-year-old music star has harboured a desire to give a personal account of her life story.
‘She’s been talking about doing a movie or play about her life with Kurt [Cobain] for a long time. So far, nothing has materialised from it,’ a source told New York Daily News.
‘It’s been her dream to get her side of the story out, [but she’s] never made any serious actions to do it.’
Lutfi has been in court this week testifying against his former client Spears. He is suing the singer and her parents for breach of contract, libel and unpaid management fees.
During his testimony on Wednesday, Lutfi revealed he is co-managing Love and they have been discussing plans for a project using Cobain’s music.
‘[Courtney Love and I] are currently working on a possible motion picture or Broadway musical based on the Nirvana catalogue, based on her life and Kurt Cobain’s,’ he told the court.
After his testimony he insisted the project is in the early stages and was reluctant to reveal any further details.
‘It’s an idea,’ Lutfi told the publication. ‘I’m sorry. I can’t say anything more.’
Love and Cobain married in February 1992, and welcomed their daughter Frances Bean into the world in August of that year.
Cobain battled depression and drug addiction and committed suicide aged 27 in 1994.
