Courtney Love Releases New Song You Know My Name LISTEN

Courtney Love has released a double-A side single under her own name despite announcing the reformation of the best known Hole line-up just a few weeks ago.

Only a few weeks back Love confirmed the Celebrity Skin Hole line-up featuring herself, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Eric Erlandson and Patty Schemel had been in the studio working on new music.

Love also confirmed the song ‘Wedding Day’ was on the way in her interview with The Quietus and announced an upcoming Hole tour for the UK in May.

Those plans quickly fell in a hole with the band members quickly denying the reunion was taking place.

Courtney has released the double-A ‘You Know My Name/Wedding Day’ independently. The songs were recorded in Los Angeles, California by producer Michael Beinhorn and are Courtney’s first solo release since ‘America’s Sweetheart’ in 2004.

The single will be released on May 4 and a limited edition 7inch vinyl version will follow shortly afterwards.
