The Crimson ProjeKCt, featuring members of King Crimson, have postponed their Australian tour.
In a statement at the band’s official Facebook page they posted, “We’re sad to have to announce that the New Zealand and Australia dates have been postponed to later in 2014. We’ll post an official statement from the promoter as soon as we have it”.
The Crimson ProjeKCt is Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Markus Reuter, Tobias Ralph and Julie Slick.
The Crimson ProjeKCt features some high profile session musicians. Mastelotto was a founding member of Mr. Mister and performed on the hits ‘Kyrie’ and ‘Broken Wings’. Levin is a veteran of some 500 albums and has recorded with Lou Reed, Tom Waits, John Lennon and Alice Cooper. Adrian Belew fronted King Crimson from 1981 to 2009 and has recorded with David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Talking Heads and Nine Inch Nails.
