Culture Club have new music on the way.
Boy George appeared on Monday’s edition of CBS’s The View, talking about the new album and confirming that Culture Club will be reuniting to record a new album and tour. George said that he and Jon Hay had been working on new songs and would be meeting during the U.S. portion of the tour to continue writing. The new album and tour is expected later this year or in 2015.
Boy George has added dates in select cities in the U.S. and Europe to promote his new album This is What I Do.
The album was released via MP3 last October and will see a U.S. release on March 25 via Very Me Records. This is What I Do reached number 33 upon its initial release in the U.K. along with top 100 placings in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Denmark.
George opens up his tour with six U.K. dates followed by six in Europe. He then opens his eight-date North American tour on April 18 in Philadelphia and running through April 29 in Los Angeles.
