Daft Punk ‘Random Access Memories’ was the biggest selling album in Australia last week by far. It almost outsold the second biggest seller ‘The Great Gatsby’ soundtrack by three to one.
Daft Punk clocked up another 13,321 sales last week bring total sales for ‘Random Access Memories’ to 62,496.
‘The Great Gatsby’ sold 4,867 copies.
The highest debut album for the week was Alice In Chains ‘The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here’ at no 10 and 2,056 sales. The only other Top 20 debut was from Laura Marling ‘Once I Was An Eagle’ at 12 with 1,807 sales.
