Producer to the superstars, Dallas Austin, will spend the next four years in a Dubai prison.

Austin was arrested at Dubai airport in May after being caught trying to bring cocaine into the Middle East.

He put up a rather poor defense by pleading guilty and attempting to justify the incident as not knowing it was wrong for the region.

Austin was going to Dubai to attend a party for model Naomi Campbell.

His string of production credits include Madonna, Janet and Michael Jackson and TLC.

Austin was born in Columbus, GA in 1972.

His first major success was Boyz II Men’s 9 million seller ‘Cooleyhigharmony’ in 1992.

He has worked on Madonna’s ‘Bedtime Stories’, Brandy’s ‘Never Say Never’ and Aretha Franklin’s ‘A Rose Is Not A Rose’.

Austin will be deported from Dubai when he finishes his sentence.
