With Record Store Day this Saturday in music stores all across Australia music fans will have the chance to see live entertainment from some of Australia’s great musicians.
In Melbourne Dan Sultan will appear at Readings in St Kilda, Brisbane can see Ed Kuepper live at Rocking Horse Records and The Audreys will play live at Blackwood Sound in Adelaide.
More acts will be announced at recordstoreday.com.au over the next few days.

Mojo Records
Hot young alt/indie band Papa vs Pretty will make an appearance at 1pm. Showcase performance and signing.
CANBERRA
Songland Records
Songland Records is once again raising money for the local RSPCA cat and dog home. Bring your unwanted vinyl to Songland and they will sell it with ALL proceeds going to the RSPCA. And they don’t just give the money to the RSPCA and trust the little cats and doggies will benefit, they buy pet toys and treats and take that to the home.

MELBOURNE
Readings, St Kilda
RSDA Ambassador Dan Sultan will perform in-store at 2pm. Dan will be sharing songs from his new album, Blackbird Readings are also giving 20% off all vinyl in stock at Readings St Kilda, Readings Carlton and Readings Hawthorn.

Obese Records:
This year the crew at Obese Records Prahran will have local DJs and producers – Sheriff Rosco, Dyl Thomas, Alter Ego and Slap618 – dropping by to spin a selection of hip hop, funk, soul and more. Expect limited edition RSDA releases from local labels Crate Cartel, Pang Productions and Elefant Traks plus the possibility of some US stock. Burn Crew have printed a limited edition RSDA t-shirt exclusively for the store and available on the day.

Live music from 3pm with WonderBoy, Empat Lima and Chook Race. Plus new release and re-issue vinyl, and limited editions.
Eureka Rebelling Trading in Collingwood:

Rathdowne Records,
Rathdowne Records will be opening in new shop on High Street, Northcote high street, with limited editions and vinyls galore available on the day.
Audiophile Reference Recordings,
Located in Burwood Audophile Reference Recordings have open rehearsals from 11.30am to 3pm, with
Ade Ishs and Ee Shan Pang (piano and trumpet) at 11.30 for an hour; then The ishs/Allan Project for original modern jazz (keys, drums, guitars, trumpet and flugelhorn). Who said RSDA is all about rock??
Quality Records…. Plus
The Malvern store is celebrating their 20th anniversary, and will have Geoff Achison in the store at 2pm for classic blues and originals from his 30-year career; collectible and rare CDs and LPs from the vaults, discounts on all sorts of other gear; limited editions, and Bruce Jenkins (Vinyl Connection blogger) will be playing classic and recent release vinyl from 11am, and offering prizes for music questions. Rocking Horse in Brisbane
• Ed Keupper, founder of the legendary punk band, will appear in store and head a line-up that includes The Cairos and Scraps. Ed has twice won an ARIA and been nominated an incredible five more times. In recent years he’s been working with Nick Cave.
• The Cairos are about to embark on a tour of Asia, but will be popping into Rocking Horse for a set of their distinctive indie pop.
• Scraps, which is the nom-de-musique for Brisbane synth powerhouse Laura Hill, well known and respected in the Brisbane underground.
