Australian singer songwriter Dan Sultan will perform at Bush Hall in London for concert promoter Live Nation in September.
Daniel Leo Sultan created his own genre of Country Soul Rock N Roll back in 2006 with his indie release ‘Homemade Biscuits’ and commercialised his success when ‘Blackbird reached no 4 earlier this year on the ARIA album chart.
In 2011 Sultan was named Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year at the ARIA Awards for his song ‘Letter’ from his second album in 2009 ‘Get Out While You Can’. That album had previously earned him two ARIA for Best Male Artist and Best Blues & Roots album in 2010.
Dan also picked up ‘Best Independent Blues and Roots Album’ and ‘Best Independent Artist’ for ‘Get It While You Can’ at the AIR Awards.
Dan is known internationally as an actor for his role in ‘Bran Nue Dae’ in 2009 alongside Geoffrey Rush, Missy Higgins and Jessica Mauboy.
Dan will play Blush Hall in London on September 30 for Live Nation.
