Dan and Missy worked together before. He co-wrote with Missy on her 2012 album ‘The Old Razzle Dazzle’ on the tracks ‘Everybody’s Waiting’, ‘Set me On Fire’ and ‘Watering Hole’.
Dan Wilson rose to fame with his band Semisonic and the 1998 ‘Closing Time’.
He then went on to become one of the most successful songwriters in the world penning six songs of Josh Groban’s ‘Illuminations’, six songs of Dixie Chicks ‘Take The Long Way’ as well as songs for Pink, Keith Urban, Jason Mraz, Taylor Swift, Ben Folds and Nas. He also co-wrote and produced ‘Someone Like You’ for Adele which earned him a Grammy Award in 2012.
In 2007 Dan released his debut solo album ‘Free Life’.
‘Love Without Fear’ was released in Australia this week through Kobalt.
