Dan Wilson is heading back to Minnesota for a hometown gig in February with his brother Matt Wilson.
Dan is the Semisonic frontman who went on to record the critically acclaimed solo album ‘Free Life’.
He then struck it big-time as a songwriter when he wrote six songs on Dixie Chicks ‘Taking The Long Way’ album, co-wrote six songs on Josh Groban’s ‘Illuminations’, popped out Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’, produced and co-wrote ‘The Great Escape’ on the new Pink album and wrote ‘Treacherous’ and ‘Come Back … Be Here’ on Taylor Swift’s latest album ‘Red’.
Dan tweeted today, “My brother Matt and I are returning to the Pantages Theater in Minneapolis on February 1st. Tickets go on sale this Friday but if you join my mailing list at http://www.danwilsonmusic.com , we’ll send you an email with details about a pre-sale”.
Matt Wilson is from Minneapolis band The Twilight Hours and was in the band Trip Shakespeare with Dan and John Munson, who went on to form Semisonic together.
