Dannii Minogue and her partner Kris Smith have announced their break-up.

Dannii announced the news via Twitter stating, “It brings me great sadness to tell you that Kris & I have separated. We still care for each other & ask for privacy at this difficult time, in particular for our son Ethan who remains our number one priority”.

This was the second marriage for Dannii. She was married to actor Julian McMahon (the son of Australian Prime Minister Billy McMahon) from 1994-1995.

Dannii began dating rugby league player Smith in 2008. In January 2010 she announced she was pregnant. Son Ethan was born in Melbourne in July 2010.
