Sydney’s Dappled Cities will mark the 10th anniversary of their first album with the release of the rarities record ‘Many Roads’.
Dappled Cities actually go back to 1997 when Dave Rennick formed the band at high school and soon recruited Alex Moore on bass.
Dappled Cities have compiled the album of unreleased outtakes and rarities as a thankyou to fans. Their first EP was the double A-side ‘Be Engine/Sputnik’ in 2002 and in 2004 they released their debut album ‘A Smile’.
The band was originally called Dappled Cities Fly but dropped the Fly at the suggestion of their U.S. label concerned that Americans wouldn’t get the name.
