The Kinks founding guitarist Dave Davies will release an album of his lost 70s song ‘Decade’ soon.

Davies recorded but never got around to releasing the songs until now. The first sample of what to expect is ‘Cradle To The Grave’.

Davies told NME, “Many of the songs weren’t finished productions until this year, when my son Simon produced the album and knocked it into shape and I finished laying down some vocal and guitar parts on a couple tracks.”

He recently said he discovered the lost works in boxes around the house.

The album will be released soon.

The Kinks are also in reissue mode. Recently the song ‘Time Song’ surfaced for the first time.

A 50th anniversary edition of ‘The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society’ is also about to be released.
