While Russell Crowe was rounded up the animals for this Noah movie premiere last week, Dave Stewart was gathering the Rock and Roll Animals for his circus ‘VaVoom’.
Stewart, the Ringmaster, performed for one-time only his ‘VaVoom: A Rock N Roll Circus’ show at the famed El Rey Theater in Los Angeles.
‘VaVoom: A Rock and Roll Circus’ featured Rita D’Albert from Lucha VaVoom, the co-founder of the colourful Los Angeles troupe, Dave’s daughter Kaya, Grace Potter and Australia’s own Vanessa Amorosi.
Stewart started the parade with Bob Dylan’s ‘Rainy Day Women’ and ended the show with The Stones ‘Gimme Shelter’.
In between the El Rey audience was treated too a menu of Eurythmics and songs from Stewart’s latest album ‘Lucky Numbers’.
