Fans of David Bowie who may not have some of his early material will be able to collect them all in the new Five Years 1969-1973 box set.
Set for a September 25 release, Five Years includes the six original Bowie albums released during the period along with two live albums, a 2003 mix of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars by Ken Scott and Re:Call 1, a new two-disc compilation of non-album singles, rarities, single versions and b-sides.
Five Years 1969-1973 will be available in a 12-CD set, 12-Vinyl LP set and digital download. A special book will be included in both with rare photos, technical notes by Tony Visconti and Ken Scott, an original vintage review of each album and a forward by Ray Davies.
In addition, the CD box will include authentic reproductions of each original album and the discs will be gold instead of the standard silver.
