Duncan Jones, the son of David Bowie and his first wife Angela Bowie, has announced that Bowie was about to become a first time grandfather.
Jones posted an image of the Christmas card he made for his father confirming that David knew of his impending grandfatherdom.

44-year old year old Duncan and wife Rodene Ronquillo married in 2012 but didn’t think they could have children. Rodene was diagnosed with breast cancer on their wedding day, November 7, 2012 and spent the next 11 months undergoing chemotherapy and a double mastectomy.
Bowie also has a 15-year old daughter Alexandria with wife Iman.
David Bowie died in January 10, 2016, just two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his ‘Blackstar’ album.
