Brian Cadd’s new ‘Silver City’ video was directed by world-renowned artist David Bromley.
Bromley has been an Archibald Prize finalist on six occasions for his paintings of film director Scott Hicks, Olympic gold medal weightlifter Dean Lukin, artist Long Tom Tjapanangka, artist Charles Blackman, artist McLean Edwards and fashion designer Louise Olsen.
David and his wife Yuge often collaborate their work with other creatives through their company Bromley & Co. Other portraits include Kylie Minogue, Kate Fisher and Hugo Weaving.
Australian songwriting legend Brian Cadd first recorded ‘Silver City’ for his debut solo album in 1972. The song became the title track of his 2019 album creating a bookend to a remarkable musical journey that began 55 years ago in Melbourne with The Groop.
Brian Cadd will tour as part of the Apia Good Times tour of 2019. He is also on the line-up for Woodstock 50.
