David Guetta thanks his 50 million fans on Facebook by premiering ‘A Party 424 Meters Under the Sea’ video.
David Guetta has now reached another milestone having more than 50 million likes on Facebook, cementing his spot as number 17 in the highest ranked musicians and as the highest ranking DJ on the network along with his 14 million Twitter followers.
To celebrate reaching this landmark, the ultimate pioneer of Dance music, David Guetta, is sharing something unique with those fans. Having also sold well over 4 million copies of ‘Nothing But The Beat’, an album that took the world by storm, the global superstar DJ/producer, a man constantly on tour, is taking us to some of the most stunning locations on Earth.
Last year, Guetta gathered thousands of people for a revolutionary show at the Great Wall of China and chose to end 2013 with a breathtaking solo-spot deep beneath the sea. Well, not exactly under the sea, but at MASADA, the lowest point on Earth; 424 meters below sea level. The setting is incredible, the desert unexposed to an electronic DJ. The night, magical. The film, a one-off, a gift. For Dance music, a first.
Playing to a crowd of almost 20,000 people gathered to celebrate in one of the world’s great historical sites, Guetta’s penchant for the spectacular truly befits his status as one of the world’s biggest and best DJs. No-one is there, until David arrives. To join the party people have to gather in the desert.
