Neil Young is ill and has pulled out of Friday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Young was scheduled to induct Pearl Jam, a band which he has worked a number of times over the years. Neil and Pearl Jam collaborated on Young’s song Rockin’ in the Free World at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards and members of the group played on Young’s Mirror Ball (1995).
The Rock Hall announced on Wednesday that former talk show host David Letterman will take Young’s place.
